2 Types of Coil Rated Voltage

2 Types of Coil Rated Voltage

AC action type (hereinafter referred to as AC type)

Generally, the working voltage of AC type relay is basically 50 Hz (or 60 Hz) power frequency voltage. It is recommended to select the standard voltage specifications listed in the product manual as much as possible. If other voltage specifications are needed, please contact MEISHUO technical personnel for confirmation.

For AC type relay, its temperature rise is generally higher than that of DC type because of eddy current loss, hysteresis loss and coil efficiency reduction. When exceeding ± 10% of rated voltage, it is easy to produce a beep, so please pay attention to the change of power supply voltage.

DC working type (hereinafter referred to as DC type)

Generally, DC type relays are mostly voltage driven. It is recommended to use the standard voltage specifications listed in the product manual as much as possible. If you need other voltage specifications, please contact MEISHUO technical personnel for confirmation.

Please confirm the voltage polarity of each relay coil in the instruction manual. If a diode or display device is added, once the voltage of the coil is connected reversely, the relay will operate badly, or the additional device will operate abnormally, or even lead to a short circuit of the circuit. Please note.

In addition, for polarization relay, if the polarity of voltage applied on the coil is opposite to that specified in the specification, the relay will not work.
