Why are the contacts of magnetic latching relays easy to stick during field use?

Magnetic latching relay is also a kind of relay, but it has more stable performance than other relays, smaller size, stronger carrying capacity, etc. The magnetic latching relay is essentially an automatic switch that can automatically turn on or off the circuit. It usually relies on the magnetism of the permanent magnet to maintain a stable state. If you need to change its state, you only need to use a pulse signal to excite it.


The reason why the contact is easy to stick: the contact capacity is relatively small.

Compared with AC contactors, magnetic latching relays have disadvantages such as small contact distance, long action time, small breaking force, and poor arc extinguishing ability. Therefore, when it is working, because the capacitor is not discharged in time, a relatively large current will be generated, which will cause an arc to burn the surface of the relay contact. If this happens, the contact will stick.
