Introduction of Insulation Resistance, Dielectric withstand

Performance parameter

2.1 Insulation Resistance: The impedance presented when a specified voltage is applied between disconnected conductive parts, usually expressed as " MΩ". The voltage specified above is generally 500 VDC. (or 250 VDC.).

2.2 Dielectric withstand voltage: refers to the voltage value when the leakage current is less than the specified value when a certain voltage is applied between the disconnected conductive parts within a specified time. The above voltage is generally the effective value of AC voltage, unless otherwise specified, leakage current is generally specified to be less than 1 mA.

2.3 Operation time: refers to the relay in the release state, from the moment the step rated voltage is applied to the coil to the moment when the normal open contact of the relay closes (excluding the action rebound time), which is generally expressed as "ms".

For magnetic retaining relay, it refers to the time from the moment the step rated voltage is applied to the coil to the moment when the normal open contacts of the relay are closed.

For latching relay, it refers to the time from the moment the step rated voltage is applied to the coil to the moment when the normal open contacts of the relay are closed. See Figure 2.
